Baked Camembert with Cranberries

Baked Camembert with Cranberries

Last night, we’d had a busy day getting ready for Christmas so we hunted in the fridge for something quick and easy to eat. We were in luck because we came up with this Baked Camembert with Cranberry and rosemary, which we will definitely be making again. It takes only 5 minutes to prepare, it’s in the oven 20 minutes and you are ready to tuck in.

Suggestions

We have frozen part-baked bread in our freezer all the time, so we could just pop them in the oven for the last 5 minutes of the cooking time.

We served it all with olives, fresh cherries and, as it’s Christmas, the treat crisps!

Instructions
  1. We have a camembert oven dish, but if you don't, just take your cheese out of the packaging and make a foil nest for it on a baking tray.
  2. Poke 4 holes in it with a nice to push you rosemary sprigs in
  3. Sprinkle the cranberries directly on top and drizzle the honey over them
  4. Place foil over the top and bake in the oven at 200c for 20 minutes
  5. Once done, cut a cross in the top so you can lift it to dip your bread into the gooey melted cheese, or go at it with spoons!
